Now that fall is here, and Florida is still hot, I wanted to style a summer to fall transition outfit. For those who do not know, a transitional look is one you wear in-between seasons or while the seasons are in the middle of changing. Since Florida is hot, like many other states, and fall is here, I’m going to be throwing in a mix of fall and summer in many of my outfits. Whether it be wearing white after labor day but in the form of boots, or wearing shorts but with a long gray blazer, transitional styles are the vibe.

The Look: Fall to Summer Transitional Outfit

For this look, I went with a khaki bodycon mini skirt, a black puffed sleeve crop top, a black paperboy hat, and color block knee-high boots. The fall elements in this outfit are the neutral and dark colors, the knee-high boots, and the black paperboy hat. The summer elements are the mini skirt and the crop top. Mixing the dark hues with the short in length top and skirt makes the outfit have a fall look without having me overheat under the intense sun.

Where to Shop the Look

If you are wondering how you can recreate the look or where you can shop it, I have you covered. In my Instagram post, I tagged the details, but I am going to go over them in this post as well. The paperboy hat is from Forever21, the black crop top is from Wild Fable, the khaki mini skirt is from highschool, and I am unsure where I bought it now, but I know a dupe is on Amazon. The boots are my favorite part of the outfit and were gifted to me last year from JustFab.

Last but not least, if we aren’t friends on social media yet, be sure to follow me on Instagram @brianna.m.harvey. I will be posting all of the looks on my blog on the gram as well. Stay tuned for another fun summer to fall transition outfit and 21 more days of outfits. Also, be sure to check out day 8’s outfit here.

XOXO,

Brianna Harvey
