Fall Outfit with Black Jeans

Fall is hands down my favorite season out of the 4. Even though here in South Florida, we don’t get the cold weather that comes with fall. But that doesn’t stop me. Fall fashion is a must for me, even if I have to put a Florida twist on it. Since the temperatures are now in the low 90’s, high 80’s, I have been able to break out a fall outfit with black jeans. Especially at night, which is what inspired me to try out this look.

For day 8 out of 30, I decided to use fall colors and get in the spirit of September. The outfit is composed of all black and a white top. And yes, I still wear white after Labor Day and think it’s okay. That rule is 1. ancient, and 2. does not apply in Florida where it feels more like summer than fall.

Where to Shop the Look

You can shop this look at the stores tagged on my Instagram post, or you can recreate it with the help of other companies. And if you didn’t see my post, don’t worry! I break down the outfit in this blog post. For starters, the black high waisted jeans. The perfect fall outfit with black jeans does exist despite the Florida heat. These are a skinny fit and have two small slits on the knees. I know that nowadays, skinny jeans aren’t seen on the gram too often, but they can still be made stylish.

The white tube top is from Amazon but is for sale at several different stores. The part that tied my outfit together, though, was the black button up top from White House Black Market. This top was what made the look go from a typical going out outfit to a stylish fall transitional look. The button-up was a hand me down, but I know it’s for sale at tons of stores.

To finish off the look, I added black sneaker boots from Fashion Nova, not pictured. I then went with my funky London purse from KharmaK’ Boutique. I don’t remember how I found this purse, but I am SO glad I did. From the sleek look to the fun buttons and mini Karl Lagerfeld, this purse makes a bold statement. I went with the bag because I needed something to make the look pop; however, if you don’t have a funky purse, I recommend a baguette purse.
