Fall is finally here! And you know what that means, leather everything. Leather is always a staple fall style, whether it’s in the form of a classic black leather jacket or a fun pair of leather shorts. But, this fall, it seems as if the leather styles are not just a part of fall; but are taking over the season. If you have been browsing through Instagram, you probably know what I mean.
This leather hype began with the iconic Aritzia leather pants. These pants are everywhere I look. They are now on backorder until December, yes, you heard me right, DECEMBER! You can find dupes at many of the clothing brands you all know and love. I even found a cheap replica on Amazon. However, these pants aren’t the only way to stay on trend and warm this season.
Leather Everything
You can join the leather excitement with a closet staple: the black leather jacket. I recommend getting the jacket a little bit on the oversized side for maximum comfort and styling options. However, having one smaller leather jacket that is more of a trendy piece can never hurt. The leather jacket I’m wearing for the Day 12 of 30 Days of Outfits look is from my mom’s closet. Sometimes you don’t need to go far to find stylish pieces. Our parents all lived through different decades from us, but since fashion always repeats, they are bound to have some trendy stuff.
The Look
For my look, I went with the classic yet trendy, graphic t-shirt. Also, fun fact, this t-shirt is from the men’s section in Target. It’s hard finding oversized graphic tee’s that are the perfect fit for my height, so trying one on in Target solved the problem. They had tons of different graphics to pick from; however, I, of course, went with the band tee that I know no songs from, classic.
The leather jacket, as mentioned above, is from my mother’s closet and is made from real leather. I know some people prefer vegan styles, and I support that. However, this jacket has been in the family forever now and is water-resistant, etc. Making it the perfect fall piece. Despite leather everything being in style, the white boots in this photo take the cake. I love how they draw attention yet are a neutral color. I got the knee-high boots in January and am still obsessed with them. You can scoop up your very own pair on Shoe Dazzle. I went with my usual size, size 7. The small black baguette purse is my Kate Spade bag that I wear probably 90% of the time. Super trendy and easy to tote around.
