After seeing the TikTok trend 30 Days of Outfits, I have decided why not bring this trend to my blog. Sometimes we need to see photos to be inspired when it comes to fashion, and that’s exactly why I think this trend has gained so much traction on video app TikTok. On day 1 I thought doing a cute and colorful number would be a fun way to kick off the 30 days. This outfit is easy to do with any color you have in your closet. It also is a cute outfit you can quickly throw on for any occasion, from brunch to going to the park, you can’t go wrong.
For this outfit I used what I had in my closet. For once I did not have to last minute buy something on Amazon. Seriously a sign of progress when it comes to my Amazon addiction. The outfit is composed of a bright green tube top, a darker green plaid skirt, a gold hair clip, and a clear purse. I threw on the plaid skirt with no clue what look I was going for, but, was instantly inspired by colors. This summer I have noticed colorful outfits being all the rage. From mixing bright colors to doing a more monochromatic outfit, colors are IN. I noticed I had a bright green tube top and was instantly inspired.
Now that I had my outfit on, I wanted to keep it simple with accessories. The green color was the star of the show. I went with white sneakers to keep the look bright and match the detail in the skirt, then I added in a gold hair clip to make the look girly. The clear purse was a lucky find in my closet as it ended up completing the outfit and making my vision come to life. However, without the clear purse I probably would have opted for a yellow purse or maybe a neutral color.
The skirt and purse are from Amazon and was purchased earlier this summer; however, I know stores such as Shein, Princess Polly, and Boohoo all have similar styles. The tube top was a hand me down from Forever 21 and the shoes are from a partnership I did with JustFab. I got them in spring but they are very similar to white converse.
